ABOUT

A collector for more years than I can count, I buy what I love. I'm led by my eye. I listen to my intuition. I source through Source. To me, collecting is spiritual. When you build a collection that speaks to what speaks to you, that is being in flow. No two collections will be the same which is exactly what makes them so special. Here, we don't follow trends, we follow inspiration.

My aesthetic education began at my grandparents' tables. At one home: Baughman, Crespi, Eames, Ponti, Picasso, Scarpa, Bellini—the mid-century masters in rotation. At the other: centuries-old antiques, carefully chosen art, the delicate beauty of chinoiserie. My parents wove these two worlds together, unafraid to place a French-polish sideboard beside 1970s rattan.

Then came their summer home—a 1690 center chimney colonial they saved from demolition, moved by barge from Stonington, Connecticut to Shelter Island, NY, and filled with Early American and colonial treasures. Growing up with aesthetes informed my design sensibilities. I was blessed to be introduced to many eras of remarkable design.

What you'll find here is an ode to my family—a unique blend that honors different branches of design history. One can't help but be influenced by this incredible gathering, all of which infused me with a well-honed eye. The pairing of eras, the juxtaposition and element of surprise, the purposeful collections are what make a home special, and make it yours.

I hope this curation will inspire you to be fully expressed in your homes so that when someone describes it, they will say that it is just "so you."

Cheers to your collection,
