Antique wooden bobbins or spools used in the textile industry during the Industrial Revolution. Their modern use is as decorative object or candleholders. 2 of 3 in the set can hold a candle on both ends (see pics, shown both ways), while the 3rd, has a brass insert in the base pin hole.
